Performance lies at the heart of every bard's magic and techniques, but not all bards fit into the same mold. A Bard's College need not explicitly be a place of higher education, it's style perhaps imparted by a mentor or developed independently whilst on the road, but no matter it's origin it shapes the way in which a bard manifests their abilities.
